ok. Do you have anykind of Control Panel in your plan ? Can you check the resources usage ?

Also if you have many plugins installed, you could delete them via ftp (make a backup first so you can re-upload them after) to free (maybe) some memory. If memory is the problem.

Yep, I've got full resources monitoring.
CPU is used max up to 40% and ram up to 72% so I think vps is not overloaded yet with this visits.

Ok, no worries and thank you for your time :).

I will try to manual update anyway and wait for response from Osclass contact.

If sorted = I let you know.
Thank you again!  :)

EDIT://

Whole script was manually uploaded again (3.5.5) and nothing.
Still can't do anything in admin panel.
Website for everyone works good until maint. mode is not automatically switched on everyday.

I don't know what to do now :( .

I'm pretty sure this is a hosting problem and not a problem of Osclass.

Add this line to your config.php:
Code: [Select]
ini_set('max_execution_time', 300);Go to your database, on table t_preference, search for a row with s_section = 'osclass' and s_name = 'version'

the column 's_value' will be 350 or something like that, if it 's bigger than 350 change it to 356

If it's lower or equeal than 350 and bigger than 343, then you need to also change the row with s_name = "marketURL" to "http://market.osclass.org/api/v2/"

No. It is better to find the cause of it and solve it. If it is a slow server, better change hosting provider. Hiding the problem will not help, because the problem will arise in some other area and ...

I don't have problems anymore after doing that :).
I've got a VPS and only 50% ram used and 5% CPU so it was not a server problem but to many countries installed.

Do you think that it is OK for some script to spend 300 seconds (5 MINUTES) for a (normal) job ?

I have 22 Countries and i don't have that problem, never did. It IS a server or configuration problem.

Anyway, i offer my view of things, yours is different and if you are happy it is ok by me. But it is NOT a solution, more like a work-around or a dirty-fix.

With minor versions db is usually not updated, but you should never assume by default that only change was the version number. Update will generate log that you can examine and see the line where it failed/stopped.

I had the same problem.....during install I paid no attention to the region area.  Default is USA all states.  Pick one state and no problems.

This is obviously a time out error as suggested by another post.  I looked at my php.ini file and there are several Time variables.  Which one needs to be tweaked and how much? ;D
