Browser hangs when editing item

Yes Eric, the Amazon ads are active all of the time. I tried the link you posted but got a 403, (forbidden).

I haven't tried it on a different device, I will do that asap.

See attached image, that is what I have in my Bender folder.
In my (Edge) browser I got like 33 errors visiting your site all referring to missing sass files which makes sense since you do not have the sass folder inside your Bender theme. I don't know if it is a big issue just something that stands out along with a couple of other errors which I think are non crucial and generic.

Again, it could well be that your device has some adware blocking software which is causing your site to 'hang' but I would also have a look at the missing sass folder just to be on the safe side.

I just looked through all of the folders in the bender theme and found the sass folder in the css/font_awsome folder. I moved the folder into the theme folder and tried it again. It didn't hang but it was extremely slow on the "edit" only, rest of the site runs fine. Tried it on my cell phone and table and it was the same.

Maybe the files I used from Siteground have been altered in some way. I think I'll delete the entire package and reinstall the one I d/loaded.

well it seems I stumbled upon 'old' files in my Bender theme folder!!
I just did a check on the Osclass 3.5.9 package and guess what, there is no sass folder in that Bender folder and no screenshot folder!

Funny thing is now that you do seem to have the correct folders yet your site does give me the mentioned sass errors...... which is strange to say the least and makes me wonder if the 3.5.9 package is correct with regard to the Bender theme files OR something else is bugging looking at those missing sass files errors in my browser.

I just renamed my sass folder and I activated my Bender theme to see if I get the same missing sass files errors which would make sense but I do not get these errors..... making things even weirder and I did take refreshing my cached files into account.
I have no idea why your site gives me these sass errors.

A clean install can help but keep in mind that not having the sass folder seems to be OK according to 3.5.9 package and the fact I do not get these errors.

I also created an account on your site and posted a new ad including 1 image. That went pretty good but editing did gave me some 'lag' the first time. I updated the ad again which in itself was ok and then edited the ad again which gave me a 'huge' lag what you seem to experience as well.

Looking in my browser I also noticed the following error:
DOM7009: Kan afbeelding bij : data:image/webp;base64,UklGRhoAAABXRUJQVlA4TA0AAAAvAAAAEAcQERGIiP4HAA== niet decoderen met MIME: image/webp.

It's dutch and says; DOM7009: can not decode image data:image/webp;base64,UklGRhoAAABXRUJQVlA4TA0AAAAvAAAAEAcQERGIiP4HAA==with mime type image/webp

This could actually be a cause for the delay experience and is server setup related, not Osclass setup related.

The lag seems to be gone now....

You changed the theme/install and now I do NOT see ANY errors in the browser AND editing does no longer lag.
I think you solved it.

Too funny. Not sure what's going on. I d/loaded 3.5.9 from OSClass directly, unzipped it and checked for the files in Bender. They were set up exactly as my original install was. Thought I'd upload a new theme and try that before I reinstalled the whole package and you're right, I can edit with no problems now, the lag is gone.

I'm going to put my Amazon ads back in place and see if anything changes.

I saw your ad as well, if you need a rope, let me know, I'll send you one.

Noticed my other remark? The errors I got earlier in my browser are no longer showing.

Glad it seems to be ok now but Bender theme should also work without any edit issues.
Can you check Bender theme once more to see if there's a theme issue going on?
That might help others and can help us check for issues though I *think* it can be Amazon Ads related?

Hi Sean, actually I pulled my account which in turn pulled my ad(s) so yeah that is working good.

I saw you pulled your ad, so it's good to know the delete function works.

I don't think you did a clean install but only changed the theme correct?
If so you might want to remove the Bender theme completely and re-install the Bender theme again through the market to see if that solves the issue in Bender theme (if not related to Amazon ads)

Good idea Eric. I'll remove Bender and reinstall it via the market and see what happens.

Right, I didn't do a complete reinstall, just added the Benny theme.

I just deleted the original Bender theme and uploaded the one from the Osclass d/load site (from the full 3.5.9 package). I activated the theme, logged in and tried to edit an ad. Same as before, dead dead slow. Reactivated the Benny theme and tried again, no problems.

strange that Bender is causing this behaviour in your case, hope others are reading along and maybe have an idea what makes the theme so special here.
