I am facing the exact error.

URL: http://www.7sisters.in (Classified ad post for North East India)

It all started when a couple of days ago I turned on the update for minor bugs and fixes. After that my admin and also I tested user login and registration has stopped. I cannot login to my dashboard anymore.

My softaculous from serverside gave me an option to upgrade to 3.4.1 from 3.3.2 which I did and it freezed at 95%. When I cancelled it after more then 30 mins of waiting, it gave me the message that I should turn off permalink to proceed. If I am not able to login to dashboard how would I turn off the permalink. TESEO helped me out with a sql command to turn off the permalink through PHPMYADMIN.

Now my softaculous does not show me anymore updates and I am at loss how to recover my login to dashboard and make my site normal.

My site frontend is showing up. But no one can post or login or register anymore. So it means it is just showing old posts and now at standstill.

I need urgent help on this as this site was meant for free ad listing for remote places of North East India and was up and running successfully last 4 months now and there are followers. Delays and login, posting and registration means I would lose the members that painfully I have built up.

Once again TESEO thank you for all you have done till now.

Regards,
Luna

Re: Login Error to dashboard -- Issued Resolved for my website

Yippeee..

The issue is resolved.

Nonetheless if TESEO you wouldn't had shown me the way to disable permalink I believe this would not be possible.

I was breaking my head and finally seeing the errors generated in debug_log file, I saw that after permalink was disabled I was no more getting pk_i_id error was not appearing. As I had already once more unzipped the plugins I had deleted before and had zipped them, I saw that now the errors were just from few plugins.

So just on a thought I felt the plugins were culprits or maybe they were not updated with the 3.4.1 or maybe the previous permalink issues, so taking a chance I went ahead and changed the plugins folder name to plugins1.

Instantly I was able to logged into the dashboard. Osclass asked me to do an upgrade and behold now I see all up and running.

Also, I redid my permalink to friendly URL and still up and running and I was able to login again in dashboard.

Hope someone gets helped as I did not do any destructive step. But still anyone do consult the seniors. For me it was do or die situation for my site.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TESEO..
