Title: IP Ban Rules
Post by: Aficionado on October 20, 2016, 03:51:47 pm
Hello.

Despite my IP ban rules to forbid some Nigeria scam IPs, it seems that it doesn't work. User from those IPs are able to register and post.

Maybe i'm doing something wrong ?

See the captures and any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I am not sure if you can enter so many wild cards. Did you try with 1 (or 2) only?
Like 41.190.2.*

Well no, i haven't. Osclass says as an example "(e.g. 192.168.10-20.*)", so i assumed my above wildcard is correct. Is all that documented anywhere ?

Thanks

41.*.*.* should be a valid IP ban, let me check the code

Well it doesn't work. It works right with TWO last wildcards (ex: 41.190.*.*).
