Free Space
« on: July 16, 2018, 07:29:17 pm »
I am getting a message on my dashboard as 'You have very few free space left, users will not be able to upload pictures'
I have unlimited space from my hosting provider. I don't understand why i'm getting this message. Someone please explain me about this error.
P.S - Screenshot attached.

First of all, there's no such thing as "UNLIMITED", all storage, software or physical, has a limited pre-defined storage space or quota.

Check within your server control panel how much free space has left and ask them if they can raise the quota for you. That should make the message go away.

Again, contact your hosting provider. "Unlimited" is not a number PHP can process, so I assume that's just cPanel telling you re your hosting plan. But internally, you have less than 50 MB left (unless there's some bug php-related where the return number value is wrong). Check with them, they are the ones who can help you with this.

When i pointed out the issue with my hosting provider, they said "There are no any space issue, you should ignore that warning.

Please feel free to contact us if you need anything else."

Well, then keep monitoring and see if it will disappear after a while.

I bought a new domain and hosting space for it. And without adding user information, it also shows me the same warning about the low space.

Well this is strange, i have never seen that with Osclass (and -believe me- i have seen all kind of problems for 7 years now).

I can only point to Hosting problems, BUT you said you changed hosting provider ? Or just hosting plan ?

Well. Maybe its with the hosting provider. I didn't change the provider, I bought another hosting plan with the same provider.

And to Aficionado, this is not the help i needed as i mentioned before. please check my other thread about 'google recaptcha not working'.

So it is the hosting plan or provider. Nothing else to search for.
