Category Listing Not Visible In Chrome

Why when trying to publish a listing does the categories never show up in the drop-down menus on Chrome when they work on everything else from mobile to iPad?

Drop down menu fails to show text in Internet Explorer too but works just fine on a mobile.
Can anyone identify the source of this issue, please? as people will just not want to list when it is like this. Thanks

Did you make any changes on your theme, or osclass?
This is a new installation?
We need more info, we cannot help you just by displaying us an image.
Add the site link if this is possible. Activate osclass debug to see if you have any PHP errors.

The website has been up for about a year and is updated.
It has always works fine on mobiles but never Chrome. It has never been modified at all.

I could really do with a fix on this as it is still not working properly.
The basic problem is that when a new listing is made, the categories that should appear in a drop-down menu do not show but they will display on mobile but never on Chrome or Firefox.
That was the point of the screenshot in the first post and it shows a blank drop-down menu.
Here is the website, if you register and try to post a pretend listing, you will see that no categories will display in the drop-down menu on laptop browsers but do on smartphones.
Any ideas folks?
