Hello guys
I am working on rollover maps with the help of RAJASHAKAR. I am trying to develop rollover map plugins for all the countries.
you can ask us for your country rollover map plugin. currently i am working on world rollover map plugin you can see the Demo of worl map at http://01tech.net/ or http://www.stickymarketers.com/
all countries rollover maps will be available soon for download

Actually it's easy to find maps thanks to GG images
it's all about preparing the roll overs,
you know, all these area shape="poly" we can find from line 33 of index.php
how to generate them?

your swiss map plugin is ready and you can download from first post.
modify the ULS of plugin accourding to your needs
goto plugin folder open swiss_map folder open index.php and chang the url of your regions from default
default code is <area shape="poly" coords="315,181,322,183,328,183,327,186,325,190,328,194,325,197,322,197,321,193,319,190,315,185" href="http://www.olxads.com" alt="Obweldan" title="Obweldan"/>
in above line just replace the http://www.olxads.com with yours

Wait! There are unassigned map areas in the map. Click here to assign regions to the map. and i'm unable to assign region.
I've look at that if can help (main.php and map_settings.php)

The Uk Theme image is way too small, as the images size is perfect if i get rid of height and width in the source code. However is there a way to change the images size and not ruin the link areas as when i enlarge the image it does not work correctly and i get scotland where wales is and london where newcastle should be

Problems installing the map.
I get an error message when installing the map as a plugin.
How to install it.
I am speaking of the world map rollover.
Also, in which files do I need to edit in order to make it appear on the first page or as a pop out?

Hi guys!
I've managed to dreamwave my way into making myself a rollover map for Romania. I adapted after a Spain rollover. Map settings is OK, it let's you assign map areas just fine, the trouble i've encontered is in main.php I guess...First page shows the map neatly, but when I hover it I dont seem to get something right -> the counties are not selecting uppon hover the way it should... they are selecting from what I see from obsolete Spain rollover.
At least I've got it to work :)
Is there anywhere else I should look into? I mean, if I deleted map.png and updated main.php, why are there still residues from Spain rollover? :-\

What is the step by step guide to installation of maps?
I am not asking about the guide to make the maps in DW, as I have read that, but the installation itself.

1. put the map in \themes\XXX\images
2.modify map_settings.php in \themes\XXX\admin(copy/paste '<area shape="poly" coords="541......' inside <map></map> from DW)
3.modify main.php in \themes\XXX\(copy/paste '<area shape="poly" coords="541......' inside <map></map> from DW )
Obs.
1.Sizes of the map are obvious where to modify.
2.Be carefull at syntax as DW code is html, not php.
The above message, my first on this forum is no longer true.It WORKS!! I've gotten the hang for this now :) I'm running locally so I cant prove it.
PS. Be very carefully at DW step, I draw the lines in a rush so it's not 100% acurate at hovering but, well, 30 mins in DW and I thought its perfect(LOL)

there is no plugin. simply install&apply a theme that HAS a rollover map and "change" the map(with the additional steps mentioned here in this topic).
