Cannot insert iframes in pages
« on: September 26, 2013, 09:11:30 pm »
Hello,

After creating a new page I tried to insert a iframe using HTML editor but not working. Need I change something in general config?

Thanks.

Found: using rich-edit plugin from admin panel (in market plugins) works great!! but only if I use like URL.
if I try to put a iframe like this:

<iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" src="http://urle_example" width="510" height="468"></iframe> doesn't work.

I've added media plugin & button  in richedit (tynymce) config but only works at preview (showing the tab "source") but when I go to a new page to use that new tab, it is not there. So I can not use that function yet.

I also tried to add: extended_valid_elements : "iframe[src|class|width|height|name|align]"  at rich_edit.js but nothing. any idea?

thanks

-----------------
I've found that tynymce ver 4.0.7 works perfect with any tag through source tab. check images.
So my question: any possibility to upgrade plugin to 4.0.7?

The problem is not using plugins of tynymce. If you use media plugin to insert a <iframe> is working only if you use it in a new add. The problem is when you try to use that media plugin or another one in a new page, because editor in pages does not apply changes you did.
Any other idea?

You could always try my plugin??
http://forums.osclass.org/plugins/additional-module-add-files-to-site/
it can upload anything you like to your site. html images buttons not checked iframe, but im sure it will. It saves the info to the database and calls it back when you need it  8)

WORKAROUND  8)

If you change the page directly via phpmyadmin (oc_t_pages_description) is will show the iframe

However, when you edit the page in the dashboard it will remove it again...

I also would like to use iframe, but in widget box. When I write the code, the update mode removes it :-(
