How to display image on right sidebar
« on: April 05, 2015, 10:03:04 am »
Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to display an image (300 x 250 px) or an image ad (not a Google ad) on the right sidebar of the site on all pages?

Thank you in advance.

I presume you are using ‘Bender’ theme and as far as I know that theme has right-side column only on home page and item page. So unless you modified the theme, you have little chance of adding adverts on the right side of all pages. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi BritWeb,

Yes, you are correct. I want the image to appear on the right-side column as normal, that is on the homepage and item page. Is it possible to do this? Thank you.

On 'main.php' look for the line '<div id="sidebar">' and this is where your right-side column starts on the home page, you can place your picture there (within some <div>) and for the item page you should play around with 'item-sidebar.php'

Hope this helps!

You might want to look at : https://zolahost.com/add-advertisements-osclass/
I haven't tried it yet, by there is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtklUzqtXMI  which explains what it does.
