Hi, I have 2 questions that i need to get answered.

1. Approximately how soon will the paypal plugin get released

2. I really need there to be a limit on the amount of ads a user can post for example within a week and i want to know if its possible that somehow
i could have that done?

Hi,

Paypal plugin is almost finished, right now you could :

Require a fee for publish any ad
Require a fee for make an ad premium
Define different publish/premium fees for each category (it could be cheaper to publish an ad under "used books" than in "new cars" categories)
You could pay at any time, but only after you've paid, the ad is public/premium.

What can NOT do (and I wanted to before releasing):
Allow credit-package options (so instead of having to pay each time, you just buy "credit", and have it on your "wallet" for many ads)


When it will be released?
It will be released with OSClass 2.2, but don't freak out! 2.2 is intended to be a short released focused on paypal support and item management options (just two things). We'll release a beta version very very soon.

Version 2.2 will probably take a while. People are eager to start earn some money on their site. I think I speak for all here that this should be prio 1.

This look like awsome feature but maybe make it extra plugin because this seem to take a while

The thing is that we've made some changes (hooks mainly) in the core of OSClass in order to develop the PayPal plugin. However, 2.2 won't delay as much as 2.1.

For now, we aren't going to do that because we think that most users don't need this feature. However, I think that it could be done with a plugin.
