Downgrading OSClass
« on: February 15, 2014, 09:17:09 am »
So I have installed OSClass at http://swapafieds.com While trying to install several plugins, i found they are not compatible with 3.3.2. So is it possible to downgrade to 3.2.2? Or is there a better solution (I NOT A PROGRAMMER)? I REALLY need some of these plugins.

Simple as copying over the folders and files but do NOT overwrite the config.php file located in the script root folder. Also if you have themes and plugins you wish to save then do not overwrite the oc-content folder..

At:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/osclass/files/

I know of no plugins that do not work with v.3.0.2 unless of course a plugin has issues anyway. It is all in what you want/need. Sometimes having the most recent is good, sometimes not.

Though not used much, I still have a laptop with Win XP for the programs MicroJunk decided to no longer support, just like plugins.

Hi linuxpcplus,

my advice is to first try those plugins, chances are they are compatible and will work, you have nothing to loose. The info is not updated because many plugins have to be tested and confirmed, and devs do not have such time on their hands to update the info.

edit: also, keep in mind that Bender theme is updated regularly to comply with core changes, so keeping latest Bender and using older core is not a good way to go.
