Hello,
Please advice how to fix Czech Osclass template. I downloaded Czech, and 99% are translated, but some labels eg. (Select a city) remained in English.
I tried poedit, reset and re-upload the template into Czech, but nothing. I tried to rewrite HTML = from, but it still goes back to Eng.
I'm not sure when to rewrite the source code, if it helps ... So I rewrite it whenever we know how to do it. I am self-taught, a lot of things you do, but this one really do not know ..
If you have some idea, here with him .... thank you

Maybe some elements are not made to be translated in php theme files (<?php _e("Select a city", 'themename'); ?>) or they are not included in .po file. I do have Czech on my website and if you were referring to Select a city in Post ad form, it is translated. But I don't remember where exactly this is done, I would have to check it.

Hi,
have you copied .po and also .mo file? .mo file is automatically created accordingly to .po file so as soon as you edit/create translation in .po your .mo file is created instantly.
Than you have to copy both of them to the server.

yes I copied po. and mo. to server, but not nothing happened. I do not know what I'm doing wrong. >:(

I edited the file in poedit and saved as core.11.mo and so it did on FTP
/www/domains/capitalia.cz/oc-content/languages/cs_CZ

Well, how did you edited .mo? That one should be created and edited automatically after editing or creating .po file. However, both of them has to stay like core.po and core.mo, not like core.11.mo or anything different.

I pulled core.po
edited in poeditu- store
I then gave to compile .mo
.po recorded - .mo to FTP
and deleted the original

Ok, try to do this step by step..
1. download language pack (cz)
2. edit core.po in poedit, don't touch core.mo (core.mo will be automatically updated as soon as you save your core.po after editing)
3. copy core.po and core.mo to server to your alternative language folder which should look something like cz_CZ
4. it's very important you don't rename these files, the have to stay as they are (core.po, core.mo)
5. make sure you overwrite old files when you will copy the new translated ones to server
hopefully you'll make it work ;)

According to your website, you are using osclasswizzards theme so you have to locate those phrases in theme translation and translate it there, or if you are planning to have your site only in your language, you can directly edit header.php located in osclasswizards theme folder.

according to these instructions, I managed to change the text, but only in the taskbar...
for exaple: See all listings not even in core.po - theme.po :(

now go to search-sidebar.php and do the same for item sidebar just like you do in front page search
lang file for your problem is theme.po and mo
or put this 2 files in your theme language cs-CZ folder and translate it

The trouble is, that you didn't translate language files located in theme
oc-content > themes > osclasswizards > languages > your language
translating theme.po located in
oc-content > Languages > your language
is not enough
If your language in "oc-content > themes > osclasswizards > languages" doesn't exist, make a copy of en_EN, rename it to cz_CZ, translate files inside with poedit, copy cz_CZ folder to server "oc-content > themes > osclasswizards > languages "and all your troubles with untranslated phrases will be sorted ;)

here is register.php for homepage you must edit functions.php in theme folder
now go to your theme functions.php and find this line

<li class="last"><a href="<?php echo $_url; ?>"><strong><?php _e('Viz více zápisů...'); ?></strong></a></li>

The trouble is, that you didn't translate language files located in theme
oc-content > themes > osclasswizards > languages > your language
translating theme.po located in
oc-content > Languages > your language
is not enough
If your language in "oc-content > themes > osclasswizards > languages" doesn't exist, make a copy of en_EN, rename it to cz_CZ, translate files inside with poedit, copy cz_CZ folder to server "oc-content > themes > osclasswizards > languages "and all your troubles with untranslated phrases will be sorted ;)

this happen last time in your first site ,you did not edit language files, when you mess with core files you can make big problem
