I have seen some posts where other users mentioned that entries posted from item-post do not seem to get posted to the database whereas the item-edit works properly ie. if the item is edited from the user posting form or from admin the plugin field entries are posted to the database but not from item-post (both by user and admin). Originally, all plugins that I have worked fine and posted the entries properly but somewhere down the line, they stopped posting the entries to the database while initial ad posting.
As I modified item-post.php and also the plugins, I tried uninstalling plugins and using the original item-post, etc., to backtrack the issue but can't figure out what the issue is and since this happens from admin item post form also, I think it may not be anything to do with the changes in the item-post.php I made or in the plugins.
Hoping someone might have a clue - but I have seen at least 2 posts where users have had this type of issue.
