everything was set to 755 after upload and install, but not config.php, which is set to 666... should config.php be set to 755 aswell?

Hi keny, Swede, trains58554,

Some problems could be related to file permissions, please check them for 755 (in the hurry, I uploaded the files with 700 permissions, my bad)
On linux machines you could use the command
Code: [Select]
chmod 755 -R /path/to/osclass/ or
Code: [Select]
sudo chmod 755 -R /path/to/osclass/. No idea what to do on windows, but should exists a similar command.

Hope that fix the problems, anyway, I will look over this issues.

doesn't change anything

If you re-generate the images it will add the watermark in the old images.

On a text watermark, regenerating a thumbnail does not create the watermark. is regenerating thumbnails the same as re-generate images?

Hi

I just tried changing the permissions of the files still not able to see ads.

I looked in the database it is saving the new ads. The ads do show up when you go to my account but not on the home page or in the admin page.

Hi,

Did you do a fresh install or upgrade from an existing installation?
If you just upgraded from another installation, please run the upgrade-funcs.php file, just go to your site and browse to yourdomain.com/oc-includes/osclass/upgrade-funcs.php (note: the path could change depending on your configuration).

If you did a fresh install (new database and tables) then, the problem is different and we should look for  another solution.

Thanks

@Keny

I have no idea what it could be, the image is sen din the plugin packet, so I don't know why you can not view it. Will investigate that.

Hi

I tried first just upgrading and I did run upgrade-funcs.php which resulted in the problem I described. So I did a fresh install and have the exact same problem. I have also tried using the modern theme just in case there was a difference between that and the hierarchy theme no change.

I am playing with this new 2.2 version and just to say that is a big step forward.

Congratulations !!!

Now the image resizing works like a charm, all plugins works fine when in 2.1 version they did not work for me. The page load speed is noticeably better as item page size, but could be better yet, maybe with better code.

Big Regions like Spain load fine too, but still some problem with USA Region.

In this 2.2 version I need to comment some lines in ActionItem.php in order to publish ads because I get Municipality or address too short error when is not true.

I get permalink error too, some letters disapear from item link, this was not happening in 2.1 version.

Original Title:
HTC Touch P3450 SPS con Windows 6.1, liberado, sirve en cualquier operadora GSM

Permalink Title:
ht-touh-3450-on-wndow-6-1,-lbrado,-rv-n-ualqur-oradora-gm_1

In order to find an ad in Admin Item, we need ID Item search box.

In the meantime I will continue testing other things...

Thanks

Best Regards

Hi,
in "user settings" none of the options seems to do anything. It seems a bug, same thing in 2.1.1 version (please look post: http://forums.osclass.org/index.php/topic,2189.msg7432.html#msg7432 )

I made a fresh install. Thanks and sorry for my poor english! :)

I´m just qurious about these issues i asked about earlier, are they going to be fixed in the final 2.2 version?

(frech install with everything deleted, including database)

1. Wasn´t it to be a choise between .png and .jpg? (i can´t find it)

2. The maintenance mode can´t be selected. (nothing happens when pressing the button)

3. When uploading a .jpg image with dimensions 2816 * 2112, 2.8 Mb (allowed size in admin is set to 3 Mb), it throws a error 500.
When scaling the same picture down to 2000 * 1500 it works...

4. The watermark feature would be nice if one could move the text or logo to the sides because its abit anoying to have it in the middle of the item.

Hi Swede

1-. I thought that, I will ask and answer you
2.- It works for me, root folder you be writable. There's no magic there, we only create a file, and then remove it (no database involve). I will create an small script file, to reproduce that, so it would be great if you could test it. btw is your server linux or windows? Thanks
3.- I think this has to be with memory limitations or too much time to server the page, we will investigate it and fix it
4.- middle + each corner? I think that would be enough... we'll add it!

1. Thx!

2. I will offcourse test it! The servers runs Linux.

3. Thx, because when a user is thrown an error 500 he will leave the site and not come back.

4. I also think it will be enough with middle + the 4 corners.
