Hi,
After activating the Rewrite, the 404 errors are displayed after the header, along with the rest of the website.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

It seems that every Osclass website i check has the same problem.
-
Can you please re-phrase? I don't see what the problem is.

www.yoursite.com/urlthatdoesntexist
goes to search page and shows (1) the header of the site (!) (2) a 404 and (3) the footer of the site (!)
instead of this:
Not Found
The requested URL /dontexist was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at server.com Port 80
Example of an Osclass site
http://www.motorcaravanas.com/whatever

Forgive me if I'm wrong man, but isn't this something you are supposed to configure manually, in your .htaccess file? (setting a custom 404 page and how it behaves, etc)

Sure. It is all there. The 404 custom pages and everything, but it is ignored.

Seems like the default setup is being over-ridden by osclass. Have you tried editing the 404.php file in your theme folder?
