Solution to admin login and customer login not working

After migration from my local installation to a web server I came across many problems which could be solved with solutions from this forum for which my utmost thanks

One problem that I couldn't find a solution for on the forum was that after many adjustments I could still not login to the admin section nor could I login to the customer section of OSClass


The solution for this lies in the PHP version

It seems that the script is unable to handle PHP 7

When I downgraded to PHP 5.6 everything worked perfectly


This is a setting (PHP.ini file) that your web server allows you to make in one of the sections in cPanel when you login on their website


This might also be a solution to many other installation problems out there. So give it a try   :)
