Tabs in main page

Hi I am using the modern theme for my new site www.mypropertyshow.in and www.myeventplanner.co.in.
My question is how add tabs in main page so that when i clicked one it has to be display certain categories and some categories in other tab.
So please help.

you can create tabs with java script or with current css3 lots of information on the web regarding both.

jquery as well. Just google free jquery navigation or menu script. Same with css3 and javascript.
