Well it i use it for a long time, no problems. If you see the files of the plugin (for example), there is no Admin folder as required.

Well, what can happen ? I have full set of backup 1 for each week, for a month back (4). It will take me an hour to restore everything.

Yes i was using for 2+ years ZBBlock with excellent results in both Osclass AND Wordpress sites. All of them. But with PHP 7.x Zbblock had several problems and seems abandoned. So for Wordpress i switched to the SHIELD Plugin (really excellent) and for Osclass to ... nothing. That increased my scam / spam ads by a maginitude and i will see what i will do.

The scams i have are Bird and Animal sale, scam JOB Offers (this is hard to figure), Loans of cource, chemical and illegal fluids and stuff. Also huge ammount of scam sales of cell phones, electronics, cameras, cars and motos.

You name it.

I stopped using Zbblock too as it was blocking even potential/real users, indeed it has not been updated for years, and the dev does not visit their forum anymore.
In one of my websites, i get a huge scam on job offers and loans. Hopefully, this plugin should fit my needs.

Cheers!

What is missing from that "filtering" plugin is after flaging the ad as spam also to block or deactivate the account. If the account is deactivated, the Butler plugin deletes it also ! Automation.

Nice.
I just did a check, and the scammer receives the listing edit email. Do you know how to stop that?

If that works for you, install the free Butler plugin and set it to delete once a while the flaged SPAM ads. Simple as that. Almost automated solution.

Hi Aficionado,
It seems the butler plugin is not working properly on my website. Instead of deleting the spammed ad, butler is stripping away some information, but the ad still exists.

I have allowed osclass to run built in cron from my settings

here is how an spammed-ad looks after butler procesesses it -

Disable anonymous posting (without registering). Simple. Why allow anon posting since you have scam/spam ads ?
