ad importer - import customs fields?

Hi, I have some question, maybe somebody give me an answers. Thanks in advance for that and congratulation for your work.
Can we import customs fields? I have phone like custom field and I need it.

For what and how we using this row from example.xml : <custom name="field_slug">value</custom> ?
