wow..2.00...what kind of a creep would charge 2 bucks.
Well, the said developer is not a "creep" in my eyes (and on a side note, I am not used to "calling names" members around here, this is very new for me). Sure, when taxes, paypal and commission fee from the market gets subtracted, it will be a pocket change (if not zero) left for that poor guy; but somehow I think that his mission is not to get a fortune and become a rich via 2$ plugin, but to essentially support the core dev team through the commission. I fully support that developer for providing a 100% functional plugin. Isn't that what everyone want? Or a half-working one to complain all day?
it does, sort of.
Once again, no, it is not. Did you see other user's pictures in your items and vice versa in factory themes? Can you delete other user's images? No. For a fact I can say this is not an issue with the core, but with your plugin or a theme.
No CMS that is popular (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla...) work with Facebook or any other social network from the core. That is simply pile stuffing logic that works for some, but not everyone who try to keep the things simple, especially the folks that maintain it, and besides, core should and is providing a solid foundation stone, plugins (of various quality) extends it.
