This is a list of user-contributed plugins for OSClass. While the "official" plugins are listed on the main site of OSClass.org, this post will maintain a list of all the "unofficial" plugins. If you know of a plugin that isn't listed here, please feel free to suggest it by replying to this topic.

I hope someone comes up w/ an alternative PayPal plug-in that's easy to work with and doesn't require paypal API. Maybe I can hack a WP paypal plugin to work w/ osclass?

i have one idea for plugin and want to know if some is working on it?
any of site registered user can save their search for email alerts.
for example, if user is searching for some thing in services then he also put some other search paramaters, in search result he can get one button saying "SAVE SEARCH" and if he subscribe, we can send him daily one email which display all new results depending on his query.
emails should go daily from corn job at specific time set in admin panel.
its fantastic idea and i think we should work on this to get this done.

Now osclass have alert implementation, do a search and at search page results,
there is a form to subscribe the search. This alerts sends daily, and can be changed
if you want send the alerts weekly or monthly.

What's the difference between the plugins available @ http://osclass.org/page/plugins (http://osclass.org/page/plugins) and those available @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/osclass/files/Plugins/ (http://sourceforge.net/projects/osclass/files/Plugins/) ?
Some are the same. Are they Synchronized?
Actually, I reviewed/improved the french translation admin.osclass.org/translations.php?action=translate&lang=33 (http://admin.osclass.org/translations.php?action=translate&lang=33) for all the plugins available on OSClass.org but I don't know how to put/synchronize the updated .po & .mo files.
If you know of a plugin that isn't listed here, please feel free to suggest it by replying to this topic.

The plugins are all downloaded from Sourceforge. If you look at the download links at http://osclass.org/page/plugins , you'll see the "Download" buttons link to Sourceforge as well.

There are 33 plugins listed above. For those to be "official", they'd have to be supported by the OSClass developers (Juan, ect.). That's a LOT of plugins for them to have to add to their list of things to do and plugins maintain, on top of all the other "official" plugins they have.
There is a reason why anyone can write a plugin... because there is no way on earth the "official" developers could do everything. This is an open-source project, meaning anyone and everyone can work on it. If everything was just "official", there would be no reason for it to be open-source. Now I'd imagine SOME of the above ones COULD be supported, but certainly not the majority.

For your 2.4 translation you can register over here http://admin.osclass.org/register.php and update the files there for the core. As for plugins I would suggest contacting the plugin author and letting them know you have a translation for there plugin that way they can update there plugin.

I agree that making all these plugins official would add a lot more work for the OSClass team. As this list of plugins is only going to grow more as time goes on.

Jay?... I want to ask you something...I have a problem with Facbook login plugin and nobody seems to know how to fix it..The problem is that you log in with the FB account but you can't Logout.Can u help us?....

This really nice work done. But with new OSclass versions some of the pluggins are not compatible. So it will be a good idea to mention whether these pluggins would be compatible with latest versions.

In OSClass, there are a variety of plugins available, many officially supported, and others user supported. Official plugins are here: http://osclass.org/extend/plugins/
==> Check the plugin info added at the top of the index.php file of your plugin.
you will see something like:

Are there any plugins that will report the actual error when a plugin won't install via admin? All I get is the following message which does not help in understanding where the problem lies.

trye to drop the table from php my admin if you previosly installed the plugin and now you want to reinstal...some plugins dont finish the unistal by deleteing the tables from the database.

I'm new here so please don't yell at me or anything about my request. But what I am looking for is for someone to be able to enter a city or zip and select a category and it show them all those on a google map. Do we have that? How can I get that? Any ideas would be appreciated.

There currently is no plugin that will do that. You should open up a topic of your own on the plugins board as you may get more response to your great enquiry.
Also on a non related note there are now 55+ user contributed plugins.

for this, there is no need to make a plugin, just a simple theme file , like list.php and alter one existing g-map plugin. :)

Car plugin: Not working in Search!
Custom Attributes: Not displaying in admin. and on site.
A lot of others basically not working
I could spend a few days rewriting all the php for these to work in modern theme (the most basic one)
But why bother writing them in the first place if they do not work at all
I could write 50 plugins today that don't work either!

I have been using Opencart for a few years now and never found a problem with any of the extensions from them
Came across Oclass by chance and initially looks good
But most plugins like the basic Car plugin simply don't even work.
When you Search under car model etc. nothing shows up.
I have come across a lot of people complaining and commenting about this one alone
But NOT ONE of you so called gurus has come up with a simple solution or answer.
I might take some time to find out where the initial plugin has errors and make it work for me.
But did not plan on using OSClass to start rewriting every ones mistakes.

Dear All
i have one idea for plugin and want to know if some is working on it?
any of site registered user can save their search for email alerts.
for example, if user is searching for some thing in services then he also put some other search paramaters, in search result he can get one button saying "SAVE SEARCH" and if he subscribe, we can send him daily one email which display all new results depending on his query.
emails should go daily from corn job at specific time set in admin panel.
its fantastic idea and i think we should work on this to get this done.

I am currently having issue when I dont have ads on category it goes to "The page you are looking for cannot be found"
Is there any way to show related ads or as mentioned above add field to subscribe so that visitors can get notification when product will be added to website.

Authorize user & authorize Ad, I have a property site and over the last few weeks i'm being hit but " heath ad's, Make money online Ad's, * users registered today most email addresses have a web extension without "real" names. Some are post ad's not related to property at all. **** What i would like to see is a tick box in Admin asking if you want Authorize user & authorize Ad's with a message telling the User or the poster that they will have to wait for there registration or membership to be approved. This would stop 90% of spammers.

Is CATEGORY FEES a plugin. I have it on one of my sites but none of the others. It allows variable fees for categories.
