Thanks for your reply, frosticek.

Please bear with me, but, what do you mean by "cron job set correctly" ?
I enabled the "Automatic cron process" under the General Settings (Admin) and that's all i did.

Is there anything else i missed?

Thank you in advanced.

It is not best solution, but it is. This cron runs in time when someone enter to your web. Means that if noone was here for whole day, cron will not run. .... But to your problem, when cron works, check if also your email settings are correct (registration emails are sent)  ;)

Hi, Frosticek.

i thought everyone can subscribe the search result by simply fill in his/her email address without prior account registration.
Nonetheless, below were my observations after the "subscribe" process:
1. No notification msg showed up.
2. No alert found in user profile.
3. No email address recorded in the Alert list ( in admin.)

Any recommended solution or troubleshoot method?

Thanks again.
