Guys, I have been searching and trying myself for a solution, but I am really frustrated with this problem.
I am using a modified version of the real estate theme, but I noticed the same problem with the original one, so I presume that there is a bug somewhere in the original code.
I do not have the same problem using other themes with the same database. Only with the real estate theme, that unfortunately is the base of my theme.
Using the osclass version 3.1 when posting a new item I could get the suggestion from the databse for regions and cities, but at some point it stopped to work. this happened many times even after install osclass again. I tried so to switch to the drop- down menu as per wiki info, but I got stuck in another problem. When selecting a region, the city drop-down menu shows always the same list of cities (the cities related with the region number 1 in the database).
Anyway my big problem is to make the autocoplete working again in the region and city fields.
Now I tried the osclass version 3.2.1 but the problem is still there. You can check my website and try yourself to see the result. Go to accommodationbay.ie and try to fill region and city when posting.
I read many posts on the forum about it but I could not find a real solution.
What could be the cause? How is working the autocomplete function for the real estate theme?
A hand with this matter would be truly appreciated. Thanks
