Here is the idea: For your local site, create a main category for local daily deals or something like that. Make it a paid category (paypal plugin). Tell businesses who submit ads with images the preferred image size (i.e. 250x250) for printable coupons that they wish to offer. And offer those who list in the daily deals section that their coupon/deal images will be shown as ads on item views in other categories. So for example, Taco Joe's lists a coupon image in the local daily deals section, but their image is rotated randomly with other daily dealers coupons on every individual item view for other categories. Make sense?
Now for the big question. How to randomly rotate images from one main category into an item page view on the right? Above the contact publisher form?
