Title: A quick question about using template engines

Hi,
Considering the fact that osclass is a great classifieds script and becoming my most favorites, I was wondering why the template engines such as http://www.smarty.net/ were not used to separate the static front end codes (HTML codes for design) from the dynamic back end ones?

Hi web2graphics,

We decided to use our own template system. At the end, Smarty and other system could be offer way more features than the needed and make the system slower. Hope this answer your question.
