Title: Alert admin/moderator of highlight new ad postings within the dashboard

hi. Is it possible to highlight items on the dashboard (either by colored text/number) for recent ad posting that needs approval or action?
right now it sends email alert but would be more convenient of items that needs response from the admin can be seen right away on the dashboard. also if ad post have gotten too many it would be very hard to monitor all things that are happening/needs action.
