TOP of Ad
« on: April 07, 2012, 11:00:49 pm »
Hello,

I am trying to find the easiest solution in os-class, how to top an ad. It means how to move ad for example from March to the top before new ads eg. from today. I know, that it is possible by changing the date in table "oc_t_item" in column "dt_pub_date". But I need some easy way for users - it means way in enviroment of web site, in his profile. I tried to ad an extra row to user-dashboard.php (something like new <a href ... >), but I don't really know exactly the code and dependences between this php code and eg. item-edit.php and their variables. Maybe there is existing some easy way and I don't know it, so I am asking for the help. Or there is someone who solved something similar.  :)

Reason: I want to offer users to top his ad(s) for small fee.

Many thanks for all response or proposals in advance.

Roman

In your admin go to item and hover over any item you want and click on PREMIUM it will bring the item to the top. If that what you meant!

Thanks for ideas.

Premium way is OK, but in admin mode.
Paypal is not so common in my country.

However, I will try paypal enviroment too.

My idea was to give user some extra code (generated after payment) and later he/she will be able to top his ad with this code whenever he/she wants until the code is still valid. I know php and mysql, but I am not able to recognise all linkages in osclass, so maybe sugestion for the future.  ::)

Bye
