How to display "count by location" on searched result
« on: February 16, 2015, 02:59:05 pm »
I am planning to set my front page display based on a user picked location and will save this location value on my entire session.
Now from front page when my user search an item I want that to be searched by location and show the counts on top on a box before showing all search results.
How do I do that? Example: I picked "UAE" and searched "Mobile phone"
Whatever the results will be displayed that are available in UAE I want to show that and in addition I want to tell my users - there are more the same product on other cities as follows with link:
--------------------------------------
Egypt (30)     Saudi (14)
Qatar (12)     Kuwait (2)
--------------------------------------

I believe you can use third party counter  widget using javascript very easly in your pages.
