empty sub category problem

Hi Everyone
Newbie on board . just install osclass 3.53 . Nice script

Install comes with sample Ad in sub category Animals . Link works
site/for-sale/animals
 
Also clicking on any Category works
site/ real-estate
site/for-sale

However clicking on all other blank ( empty ) sub-category Link does not work . Displays
site/#

For new site  I think this troublesome to user . Any fix for this would be greatly appreciated
