[solved]Item-post.php submission not working

i've using my own theme. Created the theme from existing bender theme. My problem is when i click post button in item-post.php the page is refreshing only no action is performed. Can any one explain y it is so?

item-post worked. Ite was not working because my meta fieds was called using a custom ajax function created by myself in functions.php
i changed it to osclass function and gave style to meta fields in my stylesheet. after that the form worked.
