Hello,

Thanks for OS Class, everything is OK but there's one missing piece.
I've installed it using Bitnami over an Azure (Ubuntu) cloud account.

And it works ok,

My os class website sends without any kind of trouble emails if I use my personal GMail.com account. But, since I have mail servers, I prefer to use those.

In the beginning, I've tried with namecheap mail servers for example, with no luck. Emails won't deliver... Then I've thought: let's try my own Gmail account, it works fine.

Since my personal Gmail.com account works great, then I thought that I should use "Gmail for Work" (you know, the pro suite) maybe because its the same infraestructure (maybe).

So yesterday I've bought the service/suite, and I've tested everything I could think of, DNS, checked that cloudflare wasn't getting on the way (again, remember that I've managed to make everything work with standard Gmail).

I've tested those things inside an e-mail client (MS Outlook) and using their web interface, everything OK with Gmail/Google for work, ports, service everything was OK and running.

So -finally- I've attempted to change the parameters in os class admin (several times trying different ports and so on) mainly using the same parameters I've used on MS Office Outlook. But unfortunately I can't still send nor receive emails, even when I can do it from external email clients and their own web interface..

Can we fix this? Can I help? Maybe it will benefit other users in the future.

Warm regards,
Paul

I have tried with a google for work account created through the google apps for months and couldn't get it to work.  Tried literally every thing.  What I've found was that most of the times it is a problem on your host's side so maybe try to contact their support team.  Also did you change your settings in google account to allow pop?  In the end I am now using a personalised mailbox provided by my host and that works.  Goodluck

Thanks for sharing your experience Ruvey,  :)

From what you say the most probable quick solution for me is to open a gmail account for this (while I contact my ISP and re-check my OS deployments, ports and so on).

The problem here may be that I am the ISP, in a way. Since I create servers in the cloud (but use external mail servers even when they seem to work OK).
I've just created one (Ubuntu flavored), let's see how it goes. I'll contact Namecheap for my previous installation, I think in the worst case scenario I'm going to simply open a Google account for this (a gmail account) and use that configuration. Maybe I can contribute exploring the code if this is a common problem. If I found anything I'll share it.

Thanks, I really like OS Class and I'm grateful for it. This is the last step... no other major problems so far.
