No email being sent
« on: May 26, 2018, 07:28:48 pm »
I'm using OSClass 3.7.4 and the E-mails are not being sent to my email server, AND also to my client's email to register.

My configurations:

server type: custom type

host name: smtp.mysite.com

mail from: admin@mysite.com

name from: any name here

server port: 587

username: admin@mysite.com

password: ************

encryption: [blank]

SMTP: [autentication enabled] YES

Is anybody with the same bug? If yes, how do you manage to fix it?

There is NO such a "bug" as you say, email works right in Osclass.

It is your configuration and/or your hosting.

Try port 25.

Sounds like the issue similar to the one on this thread -> https://forums.osclass.org/general-help/do-not-send-mail-to-remember-password/ isn't going to go away.

This looks like a real mess, probably he is trying everything possible out of desperation.

@Goo: Have a look at this for some pointers -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3GcNcPXCcA

If this still couldn't be resolved, speak to your host or else, hire a web (Osclass) developer.

Is there any option for me watch the error report? Is strange because I've tried with many different ports and encryptions.

Try port 25.

My host server DON'T use the 25 port anymore. They have a note where explain why they are using port 587 instead port 25.
Why should I try port 25, then?

Do you know how can I have the access to OSClass error logs? It's strange I can't send or receive emails or messages, because I use the same host server to other projetcs (using phpmailer) on their same port (587), and it's working perfectly.

I don't think there are any logs of Osclass. The logs or YOUR provider's could help you.

See the pic attached. My site is SSL enabled and i have this configuration for almost a year now; I did not have any problem so far (touch wood). Again Osclass works straight out of the box when it comes to emails.

Check the following out:
https://www.seveninternet.co.uk/knowledge/how-to-send-email-using-port-587-instead-of-port-25/
http://www.serversmtp.com/en/port-587

You can also ask your host for some pointers
