Registering accounts on website
« on: November 14, 2017, 05:30:41 pm »
Hi,

At the moment if a user types his email address osclass looks to see if that email address is already registered. I would like users to be able to register accounts regardless of their email address.
 Can you please help?

I think it's just a matter of removing the query where osclass looks if email address registered before, but I don't know where is this.

Do you mean that multiple users with same email should be allowed ? If so, it is not logical and not allowed.

At the moment new users needs to pay to register. But there is an issue with registration process. If somebody tries to register and then abandons the registration process - in admin shows user as inactive. But if user tries an hour later to register using same email address an error message shows on form saying This email address is already registered, although he hasn't finished the initial registration. This happens quite often, people give up and then changes their mind.

So your problem is the same you have here:

no need to open a new/duplicate topic.
