oc_t_item_description_html Confusion
« on: June 05, 2018, 04:38:17 pm »
Hi, I am new to it, actually i purchased a HTML editor and installed it. It provides HTML editor on back-end as well as while adding listing on fronted. But when you save the listing and view it only display plain text.

When you open that listing in Backend, then you can see formatted text in editor.

So, on further investigation i checked the DB and saw that there are two tables.

oc_t_item_description_html & oc_t_item_description

In Frontend it show data from non-formatted oc_t_item_description only, while it saves formatted data in oc_t_item_description_html

I checked all the options and tried it with registered, not registered premium listings and the result is same.

Can any one tell me if i can change the function so that item.php extract formatted data from oc_t_item_description_html and not plain text.

Urgent help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi eric_crains123,

as this is a premium product, and I'm it's author, please open a support ticket and I will provide you all the necessary support. Also, I do not frequently visit forum lately, so I may miss these kind of questions in the future.

Plugin comes with the extensive and very detailed Help page, which explains and describes all the necessary things in great detail (for standard themes). You can start reading from there if you wish to understand it better. Tables are not confusing at all, actually, they simply follow complete separation logic.
