[Solved] Osclass Wizards Theme Drop Down Category and Region Bugged

Hello, I just update my Osclass Wizards theme to the latest version 2.0.1 and now my dropdown boxes on the home screen next to the search bar seem to be invisible. I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like when you click on one of the invisible dropdown boxes. Any help on solving this would be greatly appreciated.

Try to delete the whole theme folder and re-install it from Market, switch first to a working theme, removed that theme and re-install from market.

I experienced a similar problem and had to redownload the main.js and select.js files in the js directory as these files are different from the earlier version. I am surprised that you didnt say that had experienced a problem with these selectors in the earlier version as they had some problems in the js files.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys! This fixed my issue.

I had tried removing the whole theme folder and adding the theme manually but the site seems to not have changed at all. The next day I checked the site and it had updated without me changing anything else and the dropdown boxes looked fine. Could this be a caching problem or something on osclass or my web provider? I have noticed other things such as the banner that take about a day to update to the site.

Also, I have some programming experience and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find resources on learning how to customize themes or knowing which files contain the source code for a certain asset of the theme/site ? Like for example, how can I know which source code file would I modify to change the colour of the white welcome bar at the top of the osclass wizards theme?

Try this link for customizing or creating a theme.

Be advised that you have a base theme that comes with osclass and a third party theme that acts as an overlay to the base code. Do not delete the base theme. Make sure that you understand that and keep the two seperate. Sometimes to see a change in a third party theme you might have to change the base theme or base code

I hope this helps. FYI - sometimes it takes hosting co a day to upload all the files when you update or upload new files. At least that has been my experience.
