I am using the cars attributes for a clients website but want to add a couple of new search terms such as colour and condition for example used and new

I tried it using the following thread but it displayed nothing after min and max price

best way would to use custom options in admin then they will show in refine search

I have added the fields in using the custom fields in the admin and works perfect, do they show up in the new listing page as well?

It should do, its part of add hook, so if you have add hook in there it will show
