{VALIDATION_LINK} does NOT work

Hi i have tried on multiple installs and in email_item_validation_non_register_user the {VALIDATION_LINK}  does not work! it send plain text no link! neither {VALIDATION_URL} works

yep, same problem here.

I solve it by changing in HTML format of Email template:

{VALIDATION_LINK}
to
<a href="{VALIDATION_LINK}">{VALIDATION_LINK}</a>
