ban rule for three part domain

Hi

is this ban rule, for email address,  valid ?
*@*.*.*

i want people with an email  such as  sssss@asdsd.ffdf.com   to be blocked

*@asdsd.ffdf.com will block all emails from a given subdomain. However, someemail@ffdf.com will pass. Not sure if this is actually a feature, or a security flaw (I tend to think of the later).

After some testing, wildcard is actually supported in domain, but it must be implemented this way:

I was actually looking to block any 3 part domain address , not specifically ffdf.com

will    *@*.*.*   not work ?
