Suggestions:
1. modern/item.php: When registered user is viewing own ad, or admin is viewing ad, show [edit][delete] links on the page. For admin, also add [edit user] for quick access to banning. Allows admin to quickly delete spam when browsing new ads.
2. admin > item_edit: the page looks like it needs some styling help to be more usable. How about: when admin clicks [edit] link on an item, while in public view, admin is directed to the regular edit page index.php?
3. admin > item_edit > jQuery: need to add jQuery so pictures can be deleted without reloading page.
