3.2.1 Database Upgrade Issue
« on: August 28, 2013, 10:43:21 pm »
Manually upgraded to new version 3.2.1, disabled permlinks, clicked the upgrade database link, said everything went fine.  Now I still keep getting the Upgrade Message under tools.  Is this a bug?

Hi,
i think that the upgrade is in two steps, first it will upload all the files, second you need to click on the Upgrade now button to finish

Upgrade to 321 will trigger a function that will create all location slug according to your subdomain setting. So if you are on shared hosting with low memory, you are using location subdomain, and you have alot of location. You must do this carefully.

I think, to savely upgrade on low resource, you can set subdomain to "no subdomain", upgrade, then edit your location one by one, then set subdomain back.

I updated from the "update now" button. After it did it gave me this error :
Quote
Fatal error: Call to undefined function osc_calculate_location_slug() in /home/www/2ndvinyl.com/www/oc-includes/osclass/upgrade-funcs.php on line 444

Any ideas on what caused it and what to do ?

I have my own server and osclass is installed in the root.  I am still getting the upgrade issue so I uninstalled and went back to 3.2 until this gets figured out.
