3.3 vs 3.3.1
« on: December 17, 2013, 07:42:14 pm »
Just a few days ago, I got an alert about 3.3.  Now I've gotten an alert for 3.3.1
Were there bugs in 3.3? What's the difference between the two versions? What are the fixes?

I'm now seeing at the top...there's 3.3.2 also? wow.

Is there somewhere which explains the various fixes so I can decide if I really need to upgrade?

Hi greg2012,

1) do not double post, one topic is enough

2) yes, there were bugs, nothing major, but here and there. See changelog or development on github for details

My apologies for the double post. Was using IE8 and the post wouldn't go. So I copied the link to Google chrome and posted it...not knowing it did in fact post.

Thanks for replying. Will check it out.

Osclass 3.3.2 2013-12-17
------------------------
- Fixed issue #1239
- Improved a little upgrade process and warning

Osclass 3.3.1 2013-12-16
------------------------
- Fixed blurred watermark text
- Fixed black background on images
- Fixed error that makes impossible to install languages via market

It wasn't serious issues, but some people were experiencing them, so I prefer to release a version (3.3.1) to fix them asap. 3.3.2 was release because I hope people jump from 3.3.0 to 3.3.2 directly, If I wait more to release it would be annoying 3.3.0 -> 3.3.1 -> 3.3.2

How did you get the alert for the new version?

Hello Daniel, and thank you for responding.

On Dec 10th. I got an email from info@osclass.org advising of version 3.3. I'm also signed up with Installatron. Next day I got a similar email from them.

I later got an email from Installatron again advising of the new update. ONLY when I came to the forum, I discovered at the top right hand side, that there's a 3.3.2. because I did not receive any further advisories from OSCLASS.

Regards

Greg
