404 Not Found error
« on: March 04, 2014, 10:44:04 pm »
Hello together,

The requested URL /oc-includes/oc-includes/osclass/install.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I was not abel to find the instal routine.

Can any body look on the server to find the problem?

regards
Tom

Try to reupload files again on your server.
Are you running on localhost?

Also look at folder/file permission settings.
Set folder to 755, files to 644.

Should not have to set file to 755 but can't hurt to try.

I have had the same problem. I've done two clean installs directly onto my VPS by downloading the installer using wget. I've set the correct permissions but keep getting 404 errors. Refreshing several times seems to sort the problem.

The install does exist in /oc-includes/osclas/install.php

What could be causing this?
