Auto upgrade from 3.0 to 3.0.1
« on: August 21, 2012, 12:49:14 am »
I get this message ehen trying to auto-upgrade:

Your OSClass installation can't be auto-upgraded. Files and folders need to be writable. You can apply write permissions via SSH with the command "chmod -R a+w *" (without quotes) or via an FTP client, it depends on the program so we can not provide more information. You can also upgrade OSClass by downloading the upgrade package, unzipping it and replacing the files on your server with the ones in the package.

All my files are 644 and all my folders are 755.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Andres,

Some servers just do not like to be auto upgraded for some reason. You can always do a manual upgrade. Here is a wiki doc that explains how to do a manual upgrade http://doc.osclass.org/Updating_OSClass.

I have been stuck on a page here http://www.tricofhf.org/osclass some kind of site maintenance, is this happening to anyone else. How can I repair this? Or should I just leave it along. Until they finish. Thanks John Crowder

Hi jcrowder0027,

Is http://www.tricofhf.org/osclass this your site? If yes then you can go to tools > Maintenance mode and disable the maintenance mode on your site.
