Fatal error on Installation - HELP!

Hi guys,

I've seen that a few users have experienced this but I was not able to find any resolution in their threads...

I have a FATAL ERROR while installing OSClass 3.2. I get as far as 3-Categories but get the error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function data_seek() on a non-object in /var/sites/a/amdwebsites.co.uk/public_html/wordofmouth/oc-includes/osclass/classes/database/DBRecordsetClass.php on line 163

I received an email confirming the installation was successful and confirming my login details. Again when I click on the link within the email I get an error page:

Please, check your database information is correct. Also if the database exists or it has to be created by OSClass (most shared servers don't allow users to create new databases)

The installation DOES NOT CREATE a DATABASE no matter how many times you install, even when you select it in the advanced options.

Manual instillation of the database doesn't work either.

Please note: WordPress, Drupal, PHPBB etc work on the same host (FatCow & GoDaddy)

I've posted screenshots, maybe someone can do the same for an installation that works "Out-Of-The-Box" LOL

Probably your host does not allow you to create a database directly via MySQL, you will need to create one using their own software
