Hi,

@dezign365 & @mark, I need a little more information, can you follow the step 1 ? In what step get the error?

Can you see the web server logs ? can access to error_log ? , maybe we can see something ...

If you are reinstalling, is possible you have already created the database and a ROOT_OSCLASS/config.php file that contain basic information, you should remove database and config.php if you already tried to install osclass.

Regards

Tom

Do a "chmod -R 655" * in the installation directory. That will get you over the first bump, then after the config.php has been generated, do a chmod 777 config.php.

This software is clearly not Unix based nor has it been tested in a Unix environment. It would however be nice to get it working as the functionality seems to be pretty cool...

@Tom

I am currently running osclass on a linux localhost and it runs just fine. That is very strange why you have to chmod the config.php file to 777 as I am able to run my site with 440 on the config.php file.

Internal server error is just what it is , Server miss configuration.
there is nothing wrong with osclass , in term of installation.
