problem with plugins directory
« on: September 12, 2011, 08:00:41 pm »
Hey y'all,
I think I may have posted this in the wrong area.
I installed osclass 2.2.2 on a subdomain on 1and1.com. Everything worked well with the install except my plugins area. When I click on manage plugins, I get the following information

Quote
Warning: require(/kunden/homepages/39/d379227388/htdocs/classifieds/oc-admin/themes/modern/plugins/index.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/39/d379227388/htdocs/classifieds/oc-includes/osclass/helpers/hDefines.php on line 156

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/kunden/homepages/39/d379227388/htdocs/classifieds/oc-admin/themes/modern/plugins/index.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5') in /homepages/39/d379227388/htdocs/classifieds/oc-includes/osclass/helpers/hDefines.php on line 156
What do I have to do to fix this. There are several plugins I need to make my site better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Abi,

It seems that the admin theme was not installed correctly, since you're missing several files. Could you replace the files on oc-admin with new ones from a zip ?

Hi _conejo,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I did add the files and got it to work. Add new plugins would not. I could add plugins to the /oc-content/plugins directly and could then install some. Two of the plugins I needed most wouldn't install, however. (paypal and sitemap).
I uninstalled it last night. I thought maybe it was an install error. I was going to reinstall it this morning.

Hi Abi,

Tell us more, it's very strange that some plugins could be installed and not others. Please tell us what happened after the reinstallation.

Thanks

Reinstall worked. The only problem I have now is between 1and1.com's Mysql settings and the sitemap and paypal plugins. I am a newbie and still trying to figure everything out. ;D
Everything else is working great. Thank you.

You can take the place of files in oc-admin new cells from a zip code?

Code: [Select]
date_default_timezone_set('Europe/London');

to the config.php file for the sitemap and paypal plugins if that helps
