Hi All,
I am looking for an experienced, trustworthy and reliable individual in OSC, PHP and API; actually specifically API (I think? and maybe xml ?)
The person should also be passionate and want to do the job for the experience and achievement however I am also proposing a guaranteed one-time fee for the person doing the initial job and providing full documentation of installation/development; plus there may be work/support requests in the future (API's & OSC related).
This is a new site I have launched and as a result the budget is really tight, whilst we generate incomes. With the APIs more income can be automatically generated for paying the support person. Thanks for your consideration on this :-)
As I say; I have a site that has gone live that I am now wanting APIs integrated into the current OSC installation. The API's for example will allow > GetGenreByID (amongst other options)...
The API's are from a current supplier/partner which I am approved to use and I will generate an API Key for Sandbox - Later we can then move to Live Production follow strict procedures.
I have Parent Categories and Sub categories as you would expect with the OSC installation; but need to integrate the APIs for a specific reason either into just the Parent Category (removing the need for sub categories) or into Parent & Sub Categories.....I am open to ideas once we have discussed possibilities of using supplied API's from the exact supplier.
I do not know 100% how it will work until - I have a professional technical proficient person discuss the options with me in more detail.
Here is some more infrmation about the API's from the supplier/partner I am wanting to implement the API's from....
The APIs are a suite of web APIs from the supplier that allows the partners (me) to interact with the platform. The supplier APIs currently cover two areas of functionality.........
The suppliers APIs can be accessed via 2 different service end-points.
- Web based REST API – HTTP GETs and POSTs returning either JSON or XML
- SOAP based web service
The services return either JSON or XML. This is controlled by the Accept header in the request
Accept: application/json
Accept: application/xml
Thats all I can say for now, if this makes sense or even if it does not (thats me then
), please send me a message via the forum etc and I will give you details of the company the APIs are coming from and my website that requires the APIs integrated.
All developers will need to follow strictly the "Suppliers API Terms of Service".
Please do only contact me if you can tell me exactly why you can do the job and your experience.
Thank you guys or girls in advance for your consideration and help. I hope someone out there can help this really could be a long term earner for us both..
Best Regards,
M
