favicon issue
« on: August 09, 2014, 09:16:53 pm »
I seem to have hit a problem with the favicon icon am using theme modern
I done it plenty of times in the past, but for some reason now when I come to change the favicon it will do one of these
overwrite the file and still shows up the original image
or I can remove it totally but when I put the new favicon in and name it to its original file it will somehow find and revert itself to the original osclass image again

this is were im looking    public_html/oc-includes/osclass/gui/favicon

and this is what I have got

Favicon-114.png
Favicon-48.png
Favicon-57.png
Favicon-72.png
Favicon.ico
Favicon.png

any help on this would be great

Hi,

Try clearing the cache of your browser, then close the browser just in case, open it again and see if your new favicon is shown.

Yes, favicons seem to be specially "treasured" by browsers... :D
