Hi iclassyfied,

new version of Payment plugin (need some testing, but will be released soon) has Paypal, Braintree, Blockchain, Stripe and CoinJar as method of payments.

Braintree and Stripe are for credit cards (no accoun required), lower fees than Paypal, and really good support
Blockchain is for bitcoins (no account required)
CoinJar is also for bitcoins, but also with your coinjar account

Bitcoins are a virtual currency, decentralized, and with very very very low fees (about 1 cent per transaction, on the payer side)

PayU, swapay & MoneyBookers have been proposed as methods of payments too, if you have another idea, please tell us.

Hello _CONEJO!

I would like to ask if you can add a payment through SMS platform "Fortumo" the new plugin for payment or if already made this plugin to show me from where can I download. Below we will point out the main features which should, I perform such a plugin.

What features should contain the plugin:
- The first and most important is the plug can be integrated in more than one site
- Adverts to gain premium status for different periods of time (depending on the cost of SMS) after sending an SMS with the keyword id of ad
- The client receives an SMS and email on expiry premium status of its ad
- Optional pay per publish - to show ads only if they are paid with SMS - this can be selected from the backend whether to use or not, ie plug-ins can run without this option

Optionally, you can add more options that I might have missed :)

Osclass have such a plugin for paypal, I think this should work roughly the same principle.

Best Regsrds,
Alex

Stripe was the exact thing I was looking for. :) I was hoping for something that can process credit cards, without having to leave the site and without a merchant account needed. :)

the other options I believe were mentioned...payza, monyebookers/skrill, iDeal...maybe even a bank pay option?

here in canada there is instadebit, was wondering if that could be an option? http://www.instadebit.com/index.html check it out, and let me know if that option is doable. Because that would be the easiest and most ideal way for individuals here in canada. :)

The sms platform would be genius as well. I second Alexxx's inquiry! :)

Hi all,

I remember trying Payza out and didn't work that easily, maybe I missed something. I also tried Amazon payments and their API was broken at some point (even with their own example it failed some checks).

Braintree is very similar to Stripe, credit card payment without even leaving the website, and cheaper than Paypal, I think Braintree is in more countries than Stripe, but that's a matter of time for both of them. I think they are going to eat a chunk of Paypal's business. I also added two bitcoin processors because you know, it's very very cheap, really, cheap, and it's great for small payments.

I really would like to include USEFUL methods of payment, the ones that you really use, because that's what really matters. I like to include a SMS payment, but I didn't find one that works in my country or with my carrier (I tried to work with one once, but I can not remember the name). Also, I prefer those that offer a "developer" account and a sandbox/test environment, if your method required me to create a "full" merchant/shop account, with a bank account in said country or whatever... I probably will not be able to work with it ;(

I think that we already cover a wide range of options in several countries, but usually, most famous/common methods only works in certain countries (Europe, US, Canada,...), but other regions (East-Asia, South-America, Africa,...) are not covered by those methods (Paypal? sure it works there, but it's restricted as far as I know,...). If you tell me, service "X" is the most common in east asia, or service "Y" is widely used in Africa, and I could have a developer account or something I would definitely add it.

Anyway, I think the plugin is easy enough to add more method of payments (if you have worked with them before), and I will gladly answer any question is someone is brave enough to help me with this task. I'm more focused now in adding new features to the plugin than method of payments

I added Payza, Fortumo and Instadebit to the list of future method of payments : https://github.com/osclass/plugin-payment/issues
(As expected, Fortumo does not work with my current carrier ;( )

Hey all,
First, I want to thanks  _CONEJO  the divisions time and his commitment to the issue of new payment methods. I raised the issue of payment with SMS Fortumo because the platform is used in 74 countries. http://fortumo.com/country/spain and fortunately after some searching I found this plugin :) Unfortunately it appears that is not working correctly. Here I want to ask, because I myself did not have time to test it, if someone has already tested and whether they eliminate the problems identified. Here is the link http://code.google.com/p/osclass-fortumo-payment/issues/detail?id=1

Greetings to all :)

Hi Alexxx,

Yes, fortumo works in Spain, but it does not work with my current carrier / phone company (pepephone). So while I can try to make a plugin, I will never be able to test it ;(

would it be possible to have bank transfer option in there? then when selected it shows the details to make the bank payment to and a ref or Ad number so it will show on the bank payment which ad it's for, when they have made the payment and an admin confirms that payment has been made they can then activate the Ad.
I know it would need to be a manual method but worth having IMO.

Suggestions:
1-The administrator(director) must be able to add announcements free of charge even if " pay per publish " is actived.
2-to define the duration of announcements for every category 3-in the plugin payment, to allow to pay according to duration chosen (according to the price(prize) of the category)
