can we turn the osclass into an ecommerce platform?

Hello,

Somebody must have asked this question before but I was wondering if it can be possible to transform the osclass into an ecommerce platform.
People would be able to sell and purchase through the platform.

I don't really understand why somebody want to turn Osclass into something else. Business directory, shopping card etc etc.

It is pretty clear the Osclass is a Classifieds script. Crystal Clear.

You are right as usual.
There still exists better script if you want to change it's functionality. Maybe prestashop would be much more powerful in eCommerce providing some module that could allow even users sell their stuffs.

Yes, you are right. osclass is for classified.

If you want to make eccomerce, many great script out there specially for eccomerce like Magento and others

It would require a third party cart and other changes/additions. Before doing all that I would just use Oscommerce (Google it) or ?.

I have looked into how/if Oscommerce could be merged with Osclass making the worlds GRESTEAST all in one script. Sell for hundreds each and become very rich like Frosticek and Design......
